Job Title: Creative Program Manager

Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in San Francisco, CA

Contract: 6-month W2 contract

Pay: $65–$72/hour (based on experience)

Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-renowned global retailer and tech innovator in the search for a Creative Program Manager to support the development of international packaging and in-box publications for branded consumer devices. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco and sits at the intersection of creative execution and program leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead the creative development of international packaging and publication initiatives—from concept to supplier-ready files.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and design direction across regional teams, third-party vendors, and production partners.
• Oversee project schedules and resource planning, ensuring high-quality work meets established deadlines.
• Guide creative resources by assigning tasks, prioritizing deliverables, and facilitating internal reviews.
• Support internal process improvement efforts to optimize workflows and communication.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Go-to-Market teams and other stakeholders to align design strategy with business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in program management for packaging, publications, or similar creative environments.
• Expertise in web-based project management tools such as Wrike , Asana , or Airtable .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and deadline-driven environments.
• Comfortable collaborating across all levels of an organization—from creative teams to executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Creative or packaging project management experience in an agency or design-focused setting.
• Background in regional or localized creative artwork (2D/3D) development.
• Experience in consumer electronics packaging .
• Proactive, hands-on mentality with a knack for juggling multiple priorities.
• Strong mix of big-picture strategy and detail-oriented execution.
