ABOUT BRAVE BOOKS

At BRAVE Books, we create faith- and values-based stories, TV shows, games, and resources that equip families to raise the next generation of courageous, truth-filled leaders. We publish bold, meaningful content every month—from picture books and graphic novels to TV series and more—all designed to captivate children and support parents in the battle for their kids’ hearts and minds.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a driven, highly organized Project Manager to lead and oversee the full lifecycle of our publishing and media projects. You’ll manage a wide range of creative timelines—juggling book production, illustration schedules, writing deadlines, proofreading rounds, and more—to ensure each product launches on time and at the highest quality.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on, in-office role for someone who loves details, thrives under pressure, and cares deeply about helping kids and families experience truth through powerful stories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the production schedule for all BRAVE Books titles, from manuscript to final delivery (including picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, and more)
  • Manage team projects for writers, illustrators, editors, and proofreaders
  • Build and maintain production timelines, ensuring accountability and timely completion of all milestones
  • Coordinate with creative, editorial, and operations teams to align vision and execution
  • Lead team meetings and production check-ins, communicating updates and resolving bottlenecks
  • Work with department manager to provide quality control throughout each step of the process—writing, editing, design, and print production
  • Manage workflows using tools like Monday.com, Google Drive, and Telegram
  • Adapt quickly to shifting deadlines and priorities across multiple concurrent projects
  • Maintain clear documentation of schedules, deliverables, and contractor agreements
  • Uphold and promote BRAVE’s mission and values through every project

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in publishing, media, or creative production
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing projects with both internal teams and external contractors
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex timelines at once
  • Proficiency with Monday.com, Google Drive, and digital communication tools (Telegram a plus)
  • Confident in giving feedback, asking questions, and anticipating needs before they arise
  • Passionate about BRAVE’s mission and excited to shape culture through meaningful content

BONUS POINTS

  • Background in children’s publishing or creative production
  • Experience in copyediting or creative development
  • Familiarity with print and digital production processes

Brave Books offers a competitive salary and regular additional incentives. Full-time employees will be eligible for a benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, PTO, and employee discounts.

We thank all applicants for their interest.
