Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Greenville, SC
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
A well-established law firm in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys in managing complex real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate law, title and survey review, and transaction coordination from contract to closing.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, closing checklists, and related transactional documents
Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports
Coordinate due diligence, including ordering title, surveys, and UCC searches
Assist in the preparation and coordination of real estate closings
Manage post-closing documentation, including recording and final title policy review
Maintain organized records and timelines for multiple active transactions
Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and government offices
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal (law firm or in-house legal department)
Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and real estate software
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and other team members
Preferred Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate or relevant degree
Familiarity with South Carolina real estate laws and closing processes
