Job Description

J.P. Morgan is seeking talented candidates for the position of Executive Director in the Commercial and Investment Bank’s Central Planning & Analysis Team, focusing on Client Reporting and Analysis. As an Executive Director, you will support the Commercial and Investment Banking business, engage with stakeholders and senior leaders, manage deliverables, and contribute to the client reporting agenda. Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leads and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive client reporting supporting firmwide initiatives.
• Lead discussions with senior leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into programs and deliverables.
• Support ad hoc deep dives and queries on profitability metrics with SMEs.
• Drive engagement with technology and business groups to enhance reporting and analytics infrastructure.
• Implement governance and controls around WCP data for accuracy and documentation.
• Present impact analyses of proposed changes to stakeholders.
• Oversee projects to improve internal reporting platforms, especially WCP.
• Work with users to finalize data structure changes in WCP.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience handling large data sets, analyzing P&L and balance sheet drivers.
• Experience in financial consolidation, review, analysis, and presentation.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, driven, and innovative approach to role improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking or financial services in management, analytics, or strategy roles.
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Tableau; familiarity with data modeling and visualization tools.
