Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Fintech

Brooklyn, NY (Full Time, In-Person)

$200K–$400K Base + Equity

Company Overview:

• We're a fintech company operating in an agile, founder-backed environment with serious momentum. We're now ready for our next chapter—and we're looking for a real operator to take us there. This is not a placeholder CEO role. It's a full-control, equity-driving, strategy-leading position with major upside.

Position Overview:

• We need a hands-on, high-caliber CEO who can own the business like it's their own. Someone with deep fintech experience, strong development leadership, a track record with investors, and the hunger to build smart, scale fast, and exit strong. This role is for someone who sees the big picture, brings people together, builds teams from scratch, and knows how to both run a P&L and create value for a future sale.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You've led or built in fintech. You've raised capital, pitched to VCs, and maybe even taken a company through a transaction. You're direct, fast-moving, numbers-driven, and unafraid of ownership. You don't wait for direction—you create it. And when things go off track, you reset the plan and get the team aligned again.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead Sales, Development, and Finance teams from scratch.
• Drive operational performance, product delivery, and financial accountability.
• Lead all fundraising efforts—VC, strategic capital, or debt lines.
• Set and manage budgets with strict discipline and cost control.
• Build investor relationships and own the investor narrative.
• Present and pitch the business with clarity, vision, and control.
• Oversee development workflows, ensuring speed and efficiency
• Create a structured, scalable company ready for M&A or sale

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or P&L owner in a fintech company.
• Demonstrated success in building teams and raising capital.
• Strong finance and development leadership experience.
• History of selling or exiting a company is a major advantage.
• Able to speak the language of both operators and investors.
• Excellent communicator with high accountability and integrity.

Must-Haves:

• Fintech leadership experience (not just SaaS).
• Experience with capital raises and investor-facing roles.
• Ability to build structure and hire teams from scratch.
• Ownership mindset with high emotional and financial maturity.
• Willingness to take lower base in exchange for equity upside.
