Job Description

Work with Breeze Airways as a Part?Time Flight Attendant at our MSY Crew Base in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a highly visible Team Member, you will help keep our guests safe and comfortable while representing the companys core values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Monthly Guarantee: 37.5 flying hours per month. You must live within a two?hour drive of Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and be selected and trained as a part?time Breeze Flight Attendant. Training and initial equipment are paid by Breeze.

Responsibilities


  • Provide an exceptional guest experiencewarmly welcome guests, assist with seating, luggage, garment stowage, and any additional requests.
  • Remain positive, kind, and empathetic, ensuring guests feel valued.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and remain calm under pressure to mitigate high?stress situations.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and respect other Team Members, working effectively in a team.
  • Stay approachable and accommodating, monitoring cabin regularly.
  • Adapt to scheduling changes due to operational or weather factors.
  • Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.
  • Demonstrate personal responsibilitybe punctual, timely, and proactive.
  • Uphold professional appearance and etiquette guidelines.
  • Assist in other departments if necessary.
  • Use Breeze inflight technology, preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages within highest hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization.
  • Provide instruction on emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Administer first?aid and medical care when required.
  • Control personal and emotional responses under high stress.
  • Conduct security screening and complete required training.


Qualifications
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Height between minimum and maximum limits, able to reach and operate overhead equipment.
  • Ability to sit fully in the E190 and A220 jumpseat harness and lap belt.
  • Neat, well?groomed, and service?oriented.
  • Highest hygiene standards as per CDC guidelines.
  • English language proficiency (read, write, speak).
  • Vision and hearing meet required standards.
  • Complete security screening training and pass a DOT pre?employment drug test.
  • Pass TSA fingerprint?based criminal history check and Breeze background check.
  • Legal right to work and travel within the U.S., with a valid passport showing at least six months of validity.
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Willing to relocate if operational needs arise.
  • Available for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
  • Self?starter with a positive attitude and desire for success.
  • Allowed nose piercings (studs only, 2?mm or smaller, silver, gold, or gemstone); no hoops or other facial piercings.
  • Limited to two ear piercings per ear while in uniform; no teeth adornments.
  • Allowed tattoo visibility if within company guidelines (guidelines provided during selection).
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50?60 pounds and perform required motions.
  • Ability to assist disabled passengers using the inflight wheelchair.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and problem?solving skills.
  • Strong conflict de?escalation and complaint resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Pay Rates

Rate varies by flight experience month ranges:

  • Month 1?6: $25 per hour
  • Month 6?12: $27 per hour
  • Month 12?18: $28.50 per hour
  • Month 18?24: $30 per hour
  • Month 24?30: $31.50 per hour
  • Month 30?36: $33 per hour
  • Month 36?42: $34.50 per hour
  • Month 42?48: $36 per hour
  • Beyond 48 months: $37.50 per hour
