Overview Citi’s Commercial Bank ("CCB") is looking for Summer Analysts to join our team. Our Commercial Banking division works with businesses with annual sales ranging from $10 million to more than $3 billion. The team helps clients maximize growth by leveraging Citi’s banking products, including deposit and lending, cash management, trade, FX (foreign exchange), and capital markets solutions. The Summer Analyst Program aims to bring in the best talent and develop them into the next generation of commercial banking leaders globally. Responsibilities Join a Coverage team for the duration of the Program, working directly with Relationship Managers on a portfolio of clients and interfacing with teams across Citi. Serve as a thought partner to clients, delivering Citi’s full breadth of solutions to help fund operations and enable growth locally and overseas. Support deal management and client presentations, including creating business development materials (presentations, pitch books, prospect memos, and other client-related decks). Conduct company research, industry analysis, and financial data analysis to support the commercial lending process. Assist with credit underwriting, loan structuring, documentation, and the end-to-end credit process, including new origination and monitoring of a credit portfolio. Engage with clients, prospects, and centers of influence; collaborate with product, credit risk, legal, marketing, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams. Develop professional skills through formal training and hands-on experiences, with ongoing mentorship throughout the program. Requirements / Qualifications Dynamic individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for partnering with stakeholders to achieve goals. Majoring in Finance or Accounting, or relevant experience in Financial Services through clubs or internships. On track to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in winter 2026 or spring 2027; preferred GPA 3.5 or above. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Access is a plus. Must not require sponsorship for U.S. Work Authorization now or in the future. Program Details The 10-week Summer Analyst Program starts in June and combines formal training with hands-on experience. Training covers sales, credit, product, technology, and professional skills, complemented by a mentorship structure to support development. At the conclusion of the program, participants are expected to have a strong understanding of the CCB target market, client coverage model, client interactions, credit product types, and underwriting processes. Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary: $100,000.
