DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Cooking:Prepare and cook menu items according to Fuel Kitchens recipes and quality standards.Maintain food presentation and portion consistency.Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.Assist with ingredient prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Kitchen Efficiency & Teamwork:Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.Maintain a fast-paced workflow during peak hours.Communicate effectively with team members and leadership. Sanitation & Safety:Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.Keep workstations clean and stocked.Ensure compliance with Fuel Kitchens health and hygiene policies. Inventory & Waste Management:Assist in tracking and reporting inventory levels.Minimize food waste and follow proper storage procedures.Properly label and store food items for freshness and quality.Qualifications & Experience:Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.Knowledge of food safety & sanitation guidelines.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills. Requirements & Working Conditions:-Must have reliable transportation.-Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and climbing.-Must be available to work weekends and select holidays.-Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.Disclaimers:Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
