Assistant Superintendent Job Description:

The Assistant Superintendent will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of Commercial projects. They will be responsible for project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.

Select Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee daily subcontractor project assignments
• Ensure a safe workplace that meets company standards and OSHA requirements
• Schedule and monitor material deliveries
• Perform daily quality control walks
• Create punch lists for trades on each phase of construction
• Organize city inspections
• Maintain job site paperwork: daily reports, material order and delivery, employee safety certifications
• Effectively collaborate with clients and other team members, engineers, architects, inspectors, and city officials
• Attend project status meetings and assist in problem solving efforts

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from accredited institution
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and/or Microsoft Project
