Assistant Property Manager – New York, NY LHH is recruiting for an interim Assistant Property Manager for one of our clients here in the NYC area. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting a dynamic residential real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and experience in property operations and tenant relations. This position will pay between $25-35/hr, contingent on experience. Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including maintenance coordination, vendor management, and tenant communications
- Assist with lease administration, rent collections, and invoice processing
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with building staff and contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Prepare reports related to occupancy, budgeting, and property performance
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with the Property Manager
- Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests with professionalism and urgency
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in property management or real estate operations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software a plus
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
