Assembly Line Worker - Hiring Immediately!!!

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking reliable Assemblers in Hibbing, MN . This is a temporary, full-time, and dayshift role assembling corrugated plastic products and related components, with a Monday - Friday schedule. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, have good attention to detail, and thrive in a fast paced, team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and machines; read and interpret schematics, blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Prepare work by reviewing parts lists and gathering required materials, tools, and sub-assemblies; position parts using templates or measurements.
• Fasten and align components, perform quality checks, measure completed assemblies and make adjustments or notify a supervisor when specifications are not met.
• Use bonding techniques (e.g., tape, adhesives), trim or drill plastic parts, attach hardware and fittings with clamps, jigs or power tools, and occasionally heat parts to facilitate shaping.
• Maintain equipment through basic preventative maintenance, follow manufacturer instructions, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to read detailed instructions and perform basic math; basic computer understanding.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety and quality.
