Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
Location: Grove City, OH

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field

• Active state-level licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Valid teaching license in Physical Education

• Experience working with children in school settings required (student teaching counts)

• New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Conduct Assessments: Evaluate students’ physical abilities and set appropriate goals

• Teach Adaptive Skills: Provide modified physical activities tailored to students’ individual needs

• Foster Inclusion: Create an environment where all students can participate, regardless of ability

• Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe setting and address individual health or safety needs

• Provide Direct Support: Assist students during activities to ensure effective participation
